Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg has commissioned a giant sculpture of his wife, Priscilla Chan, to be erected in their backyard, in what's being described as the ultimate romantic gesture. The 40-year-old Facebook CEO posted a photo to Instagram yesterday of his wife standing next to the larger-than-life sculpture.

Zuckerberg commissioned the sculpture from renowned artist Daniel Arsham, a New York City-based artist known for straddling the boundaries of architecture, sculpture and performance art. His Priscilla Chan sculpture is similar to his recent work in bronze with a Tiffany green patina.
“We've revived the Roman tradition of making sculptures of wives. Thank you Daniel Arsham,” Mark Zuckerberg wrote on Instagram, sharing photos and videos of the sculpture.

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have been married for over 12 years. They have three daughters together: Maxima, August, and Aurelia. The two began dating in 2003 when they met at a college party while Zuckerberg was attending Harvard University.
In a Facebook post last year, the tech billionaire opened up about the first time they met. “We met at a going away party some of my friends from college threw for me when I thought I was about to drop out,” Zuckerberg revealed. “I asked her out, but she said I needed to leave soon because I might only have a few days left. Then I started Facebook, got married, and now we have three beautiful daughters. It's been a rollercoaster ride,” he added.

His decision to order a statue of his wife caused a stir on social media.
“Husbands all over the world are shaking,” one Instagram user wrote in the comments section of the post.
“He's raised the bar for all of us,” another user said. “Sorry Mark, I didn't know your game well,” user X added.
