DALLAS — Jetstar Asia (3K) has announced that it will begin operating new non-stop flights between Singapore and Colombo, Sri Lanka, beginning November 21, 2024, making Jetstar Asia the only low-cost carrier to operate non-stop flights on the route.
The Singapore-based airline plans to operate five round trip flights per week using its Airbus A320 aircraft, and the new service will provide more than 90,000 affordable seats between the two cities per year.
The flight schedule includes morning and evening departures from Singapore Changi Airport (SIN), offering flexibility to passengers starting their journey in Singapore.
The route will provide a convenient connection for travellers using Jetstar Airways' (JQ) daily flight from Melbourne via Singapore or six times weekly flights from Perth. This route expansion demonstrates 3K's commitment to providing budget-friendly travel options whilst increasing connectivity between the region.
