Exhibitors Showcase Fresh Innovations
Well-known brands will be showcasing a range of exciting products and innovations at Asia Fruit Logistica.
Fresh Del Monte will be showcasing the Del Monte Ruby Glow Pineapple, which was launched in China earlier this year after approximately 15 years of research and development.
As well as promoting its blueberry varieties, Secoya will also be showcasing its new blueberry dispenser, “which is an eye-catcher and a new way of selling snacking blueberries in a hygienic, convenient and fun way,” says Hans Liekens, Value Chain and Retail Manager.
Apple brand Joya will launch its new logo and brand identity at Asia Fruit Logistica, while Pink Lady will unveil its new brand positioning specifically designed to build brand affinity and grow its customer base across Asia.

On the main stage, Asia Fruit Congress will kick off with a powerful panel discussion examining the changing consumer and food retail landscape in Asia and what it means for fresh produce marketers. Speakers include Anson Bailey, head of consumer and retail, Asia Pacific, at KPMG, Antony Greenstein, CEO, Joy Wing Mau Asia, David Yang, head of market development, Greater China, at Zespri, Fong Yun Chi, category director, fresh produce, DFI Retail Group, and Sam White, country manager, Thailand, at T&G Global.
The Asiafruit Business Forum, held alongside the Asiafruit Congress, will focus on specific topics through a wide range of workshops and case studies.
The second day (September 5) will focus on high-tech agriculture, with Tom Stenzel, executive director of the Controlled Environment Agriculture Alliance, hosting a session exploring the potential of vertical farming in Asia, along with Jessica Fong of Common Farms, Lionel Wong of Upgrown Farming, and Mark Oshima of Oshima Good Food.
The Asiafruit Showcase is the stage for exhibitors to showcase their latest products, technologies and solutions: Duncan Aust from AgroFresh will explain how the company's post-harvest technology is empowering fresh produce businesses at every stage of the value chain, while Gerd Uitdewilligen from Copeland will discuss its cargo monitoring solutions for Asian markets.
