Part 2 of the preseason begins on Saturday night with the Seattle Seahawks (1-0, 1-0-0 ATS) taking on the Tennessee Titans (1-0, 0-1-0 ATS). This weekend's game kicks off at 7 PM ET at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. These two teams met at this stadium last Christmas Eve with the Seahawks winning 20-17. The stakes are much lower this time around, so who will remain unbeaten in the preseason?

Seattle's defense on display
The Seahawks left Los Angeles with a 16-3 victory. Their defense should be proud of how they protected the pass. The Chargers quarterback finished the game completing 43.8 percent of his passes with three sacks and one interception. Seattle's defense was a no-fly zone.
New head coach Mike McDonald was brought in to deliver just that. Last weekend was a great start to transforming a defense that allowed the third-most points in 2023. But there are still questions about the pass rush on the edge. Derrick Hall, Boye Mafe and Uchenna Nwosu will get another chance this week to prove they are a threat. Seattle's CBs, who embarrassed Los Angeles' WRs last week, can double down on their impressive performance. Seattle's defensive line and LB room reinforcements will work together by getting more snaps on Saturday. Building on last weekend's performance will be the goal of the entire Seahawks defense.
Offensively, last week was not all that stellar. Sam Howell, who competed for the backup QB spot, had some strong and some lackluster plays. A more consistent game will be important to prove that he is Geno Smith's top backup, not PJ Walker. Smith should actually get playing time this week, along with other starters such as DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker III. This will be the first time he plays with this line, including projected right guard starter Anthony Bradford, in a game scenario. There was an emphasis on getting the ball on the ground last week, as the team attempted 39 rushes. Kenny McIntosh is a strong candidate for RB3 and should be able to step that up on Saturday. How the starters fare with the new offensive line will be key in this game, as will the running backs vying for the third spot.
Notable Injuries – Zach Charbonnet (questionable), Noah Fant (questionable), Tyler Lockett (questionable), Abraham Lucas (out), Jerrick Reed II (out), Cameron Young (out).

Tennessee starters prepare for test
The Titans used their offensive starters in their first preseason game and it worked as expected. They played well against San Francisco, scoring on two offensive plays and turning an early 14-7 lead into a 17-13 victory.
Now they will face starters from other teams, and it will be interesting to see how Will Revis, Tony Pollard, and Calvin Ridley fare. Even without DeAndre Hopkins, all of Tennessee's WRs will be tested by Seattle's secondary, which will be a fun battle to watch. Saturday will see the Titans' starting interior offensive line show glimpses of their potential. Since it's preseason, the battle for the final roster spot will be more interesting to impact the game. Malik Willis and Mason Rudolph showed why they should be backups last week. With more practice, they could have a clear advantage there. The Titans would like to see more from Hassan Haskins before declaring him the RB3. Tennessee is currently working with their TE rotation, and someone could secure the spot. From top to bottom, this Tennessee team has a lot to contend with.
Defensively, the Titans have a ton of unanswered questions. Right now, their most glaring weakness is depth on the wing. But the team also needs to figure out their backup inside LB situation. Chance Campbell's phenomenal performance last week makes him a front-runner. At safety, starters Quandre Diggs and Amani Hooker will have stiff competition from Jamal Adams and Elijah Molden. Tennessee's new cornerbacks will have a fun battle with a talented Seahawks WR core. Can this team pull off another win at home and get some clarity on the future of their defense?
Key Injuries – Jamal Adams (questionable), Caleb Farley (questionable), Luke Gifford (questionable), Tre'Sean Harrison (questionable), DeAndre Hopkins (questionable).

As last week's game showed, Seattle's defense is no joke. Despite playing against and against their starters, the Seahawks consistently stopped the Chargers. Considering 14 of Tennessee's 17 points last week came from starters and against reserves, it's unlikely the Titans will have an early advantage again.
Meanwhile, Seattle's offense will test the Tennessee defense from start to finish. The Seahawks' quarterbacks all have starting experience, and Seattle has the weapons to test the Titans' new secondary. Saturday's game should end with the visitors winning.
Prediction: Seattle Seahawks -105

Last week, the Seahawks allowed just three points, and Tennessee held the 49ers to 13. On top of that, neither offense reached 20 points in the season opener, and both defenses seem to be outplaying their offenses.
The Titans won't be able to match their 17-point performance from Week 1 of the preseason because they won't have the benefit of an offensive line playing against reserves. Seattle is trying a new offensive line, which always comes with growing pains. Tennessee has a lot of young players looking to prove they belong on the team again. Expect another low-scoring game and bet the under.
Prediction: 35.5 or less
