Despite the scorching heat in August, Pinterest reports that many people are thinking ahead to Christmas and starting to make festive plans early. There has been a significant increase in festive searches, with the most notable and unexpected decor trend being “red Christmas trees,” which recently spiked 6.6 times.
Red Christmas trees are definitely an unusual Christmas trend, something we've never seen before and definitely not for the faint of heart, but it's not actually a surprise.
In the world of interior design, 2024 was the year of the unexpected red theory, a decor trend that claims that adding a touch of red to any room can instantly upgrade its design. Now, this theory is also making its way into Christmas decor. A red Christmas tree is definitely unexpected, but it's sure to be a talking point during the Christmas season.
