The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will sail to Asia for the first time during the winter 2025-26 season, when the luxury brand plans to offer a series of cruises to the Far East and Southeast Asia with the new Luminara.

Asia's first cruise

Luminara will be redeployed from Europe and is scheduled to debut in Southeast Asia with a 14-night cruise in December 2025.
This open-jaw itinerary will sail between Singapore and Hong Kong over the New Year holiday, visiting six destinations in Thailand and Vietnam, with highlights including an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City and Laem Chabang, from where you can connect to Bangkok.
Southeast Asia and the Philippines

Itinerary: Salomague, Busuanga, El Nido, Puerto Princesa (Philippines). Bandar Ser Begawan (Brunei Darussalam) and Kuching (Borneo).
Luminara's inaugural Asia season also includes this 12-night itinerary focusing on Philippine destinations. Sailing from Hong Kong to Singapore, the cruise will visit four Philippine ports of call, including Salomague, Busuanga, El Nido and Puerto Princesa.
The itinerary also includes off-the-beaten-path destinations in the region, such as Brunei Darussalam and Borneo.
From Hong Kong to Japan

Itinerary: Shanghai (China), Incheon (Korea), Nagasaki, Kobe (Japan)
In early March, Luminara will set sail for the Far East on a route visiting China, Korea and Japan.
The 12-night cruise will sail from Hong Kong to Tokyo, calling on Incheon, Nagasaki, Kobe and Shanghai, where Luminara will stay for two days. The open-jaw cruise will conclude in Japan, just in time for cherry blossom season, according to Ritz-Carlton.

Itinerary: Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kagoshima (Japan), Busan (Korea)
According to Ritz-Carlton, the 10-night cruise will allow guests to discover Japan's cultural heritage during cherry blossom season.
Sailing round-trip from Tokyo, the itinerary will focus on UNESCO World Heritage sites and visit Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagasaki and Kagoshima. The cruise will also stop in the South Korean port city of Busan.
Japan to Alaska

Itinerary: Kushiro and Hakodate (Japan), Dutch Harbor and Kodiak (USA)
Following completion of her Asian schedule, Luminara will offer a 15-night trans-Pacific cruise. Sailing from Tokyo to Seward, the repositioning cruise will call on destinations in Japan and Alaska.
According to Ritz-Carlton, highlights of the itinerary include a visit to Kushiro, where guests can explore Shigenobu National Park, and Kodiak Island, a wildlife refuge.
