Mallory: Thank you. Now, let's introduce the new movie. Christopher Pollard from Milwaukee Film and Film Podcast CINEBUDS will be here to talk live about this week's featured films. Lindsay: By the way, I think this is a legendary movie. Bill Skarsgård once played the clown Pennywise, but in “The Crow” he wears a completely different mask. Christopher: Yes. This is a new adaptation of the comic “The Crow”. Francis …Mallory: If “The Crow” doesn't scare you, next up is Milwaukee Film's creepy kids series “Devil's Backbone”. Christopher: The PP Kids series is really fun. It's still going strong. This week we're screening two early classics, “Devil's Backbone”. This movie was made 12 years ago by del Toro, known for “The Shape of Water” and “Hellboy”, and it's still scary today. A boy is sent to a creepy orphanage, but the people there are still alive. The ghosts have messages, and it's your job to find them. It's a really creepy kids movie that will get to you. The screening starts at 9pm. Mallory: I've never felt this way before. Mallory: This is a movie you should see. Lindsay: Kids, I get it. Don't take your kids to see it because there are creepy kids in the movie. (Laughs) Mallory: You can take them. Christopher: That's a good point. Lindsay: Finally, this is a role we think we'll be playing. Channing Tatum stars in a new movie Christopher: Channing Tatum is enjoying the summer. First in Fly Me to the Moon, then a cameo in Deadpool. He stars in Blink Twice. He plays a tech billionaire who meets a waitress and invites her to his private island. If there's anything we've learned, it's that you never go to a private island. Never go there. Of course she suspects her friend, which, of course, is also bullshit. Great cast. The movie opens this weekend at the Oriental Theatre. Mallory: It looks good. I've seen the trailer so many times that I thought it was W Summer. Kristoff:
