Kyle Richards grew up in Los Angeles and continues to raise her family there. She also owns two vacation homes in La Quinta and Aspen, California.
During a recent Amazon Live appearance, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star opened up more about her current living situation and answered a fan's question about the possibility of buying a “vacation home” in Europe, given that she and her family travel there frequently.
“I don't know, it's just hard to get there,” Kyle said.
Kyle Richards plans to move out of Los Angeles
While Kyle may not have plans to move abroad anytime soon, she did open up about the possibility of leaving Los Angeles on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, Episode 11.
“Being here makes me think I want to live in a place like this, like this,” Kyle told his co-stars during a group trip to Ojai, Calif. “Quiet, away from everyone.”
“I will always love Los Angeles,” Kyle continued in a confessional interview during the episode that aired on January 10. “But I just don't feel as connected to L.A. as I used to. What makes me happy is being outside, running along the river, and hiking with my dogs. So one day, after Portia[Umansky]finishes school, I'm going to choose a place that makes me happy.”

Of course, even if Kyle hasn't purchased a home in Europe or Ojai, he still has plenty of real estate to enjoy.
As mentioned above, Kyle currently owns three homes: the family's primary residence in Encino, as well as vacation homes in La Quinta, California, and Aspen, Colorado.
The mother of four moved into her Encino home with her family in 2017 and has been working on renovating it for the past few years.
“I really see this as our forever home, so I'm just going to change everything in the house the way I want it,” Kyle told The Daily Dish in May 2022. “Even if we move to Aspen, Colorado or something one day, I'm going to keep this house for my kids.”
Speaking of Aspen, Kyle and her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, owned another home in Aspen before moving to their current home in 2022.
“Our family is growing and we need more space,” Kyle explained on her Instagram Story at the time, adding that she “has no plans to leave Aspen.”
