Recommendations for Wednesday, August 21st
A'ja Wilson – 11.5+ rebounds (-140) vs. Minnesota Lynx
FanDuel Sportsbook, 2:10 p.m. CST
Jason Shebirski: Wilson had a somewhat quiet rebounding period in June and early July, but has since bounced back, recording double-digit rebounds in each of his final eight games, including at least 12 in six of those games. The MVP frontrunner was held to eight rebounds in the midst of a struggle against Minnesota on June 11, but did grab 15 rebounds against the Lynx on May 29. Given Wilson's recent success, the over seems likely on Wednesday, especially as the Lynx are allowing the second-most rebounds to opposing centers of any team in the league this season.
Jordan Canada over 11.5 points (-110) vs. Phoenix Mercury
DraftKings Sportsbook, 1:10 p.m. CST
Killien Sprecher: Canada has missed an extended period this season, but seems to be fully recovered after the Olympic break. In Atlanta's last game, he recorded 19 points (5/10 FG), 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 6 steals in 34 minutes. If Canada can play 30+ minutes again, he should be able to easily consistently score in double figures.
