In a recent interview, Jenna Ortega recounted a terrifying memory of her first experience with an AI.
The 21-year-old Wednesday actress appeared on the podcast “The Interview” to reflect on her rise as a child star. For those of you who don't know, she's been acting since she was a little girl, landing a leading role in 2016 on Disney Channel's “Stuck in the Middle.”
As the topic turned to AI, Jenna said society had “opened Pandora's box”, recalling how as a teenager she was sent disgusting images of herself that had been edited by an AI.

“I hate AI,” Jenna said, via People magazine. “Was I 14 and I made a Twitter account because I had to, and I loved looking at salacious edited content of myself as a child? No. It's horrifying. It's corrupting.”
Jenna continued: “That's wrong. That's horrible.”
“But the problem is there. We've opened Pandora's box. That's the reality. It's now clear. We have to deal with the consequences,” she added.
