The Jamaica National Chorus performed a musical adaptation of excerpts from George Gershwin's classic African-American opera “Porgy and Bess” at Courtley Auditorium on Wednesday. Starring world-class operatic bass-baritone Sir Willard White as Porgy and his wife, renowned mezzo-soprano Mrs. Sylvia Kevorkian White as Bess, the production was superb and the audience enjoyed every minute.
