Rockies vs Yankees predictions and forecasts
prediction
Yankees 6, Rockies 2
Money Line
Passed.
I think it's a safe bet that the Yankees (-300) will win this series on Sunday, but I'm not going to accept those odds at all. I'm going to bet on the run line.
Against run line/spread
Bet on the Yankees -2.5 (+110).
The Yankees are 35-29 this season in the Bronx and 28-16 in day games. New York is 4-1 ATS in their last five games. It's also very encouraging that Stroman has only allowed one run in his last 11 innings (two starts). It's hard to bet against a team with Judge and his 49 home runs.
By record, the Rockies are the third-worst team in MLB, going 19-49 away from Coors Field this season.
Over/Under
Bet on 8.5 or less (-105).
I initially thought I would bet on the over, but trends suggested I should bet on the under. The under has been right in Gomber's last four starts. In the last five meetings between the Rockies and Yankees, I am 3-2 against the under. The under has been right in four of the last six meetings for the Rockies and two of the last three meetings for the Yankees.
