There are two more light matches scheduled in the WNBA this Sunday, with the Aces vs Sky kicking off at 12pm ET and the week wrapping up with the Sparks vs Wings at 4pm ET. Our basketball betting experts have made four predictions and predictions for today's two matchups.
Let’s take a look at the best WNBA bets for Sunday, August 25th.

Michael Fiddle's Aces vs Sky best bets

Here we have the Las Vegas Aces, a team capable of scoring nearly 100 points in any given game, pitted against an opponent in the Chicago Sky who may struggle to surpass 50. The total for this game falls right in the middle between the usual mid-170s price tag for an Aces game and the 160 or so price tag for a Sky game.
I lean towards the over because Aces play at such a fast pace. I think the number of balls in possession leads to an over. A secondary indicator is the movement of the line towards the Ace. Overs and favourite covers are correlated results.
The spread has moved by 1.5 points and the total has only been 1 point since opening, so I think the over is the best remaining angle in this matchup.
Pick: 168.5+ (-108)
Joe Derella's Aces vs Sky Best Bet

A'ja Wilson should be strong again against the Sky's rookie backcourt. She has scored 31 and 28 points in two games against Reese and Cardozo so far this season, and the Aces need to get back on track after losing two games to the Lynx.
A'ja is averaging 26.8 points and has been over that line in 68% of his games, and in wins he is even better averaging 27.4 points and hitting 76% of the time.
I expect A'ja to top 25.5 points on Sunday, with 26.5 also playable.
Pick: A'ja Wilson over 26.5 points (-115)
Michael Fiddle's best Sparks vs Wings bets

This is a rare moment where I am bucking the market. The total started at 166.5 and has risen to 169.5. The Sparks are trying to play paced basketball so the movement since the start is understandable. But the momentum is too much as the total approaches 170.
Here are the two worst teams in the WNBA. Both are just six wins into the season and are likely in tank mode heading into the end of the season. The Sparks are dealing with a shortened rotation and the Wings are having one of the worst seasons imaginable after being a playoff team last year. Expect less efficiency and a somewhat slower pace due to a general sense of fatigue and lack of urgency.
I play this with a half unit bet because my opinion of weakening the market is not as strong as timing it to be ahead of the number, and of course I would not be surprised if underbackers enter the market and drive this number lower, suggesting this may also be a smart market bet.
Pick: Under 169.5 (-110)
Michael Fiddle's best Sparks vs Wings bets

DeArica Hamby is averaging 17.7 points this season but was unable to improve on that mark in any games since the Olympic break. With more games and the Sparks' shortened rotation, now is the perfect opportunity for Hamby to bounce back.
Hamby has logged over 30 minutes of playing time in four of her last five games, so her drop in playing time is not as worrisome as the difference between her averages and this 15.5 line, and in fact, I’m weakening the game total line movement towards the under.
Because Over Player Props and Under Game Total plays are inversely correlated, you could technically parlay them together at +264 to get a fair payout for a two-legged parlay. If you like this angle, consider splitting your exposure in half units between the best prop line you can find and the best parlay combo you can find. These may not be the same book.
Pick: Dearrica Hamby over 15.5 points (-122)
