Cardinals wide receiver Zay Jones was one of the fantasy football duds last season, playing in just nine games for the Jaguars and catching 34 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns. He had a career-high in 2022 with 82 receptions for 823 yards and five touchdowns, but his production dropped off significantly after that. Jones is not expected to play in fantasy football in 2024 due to a five-game suspension for violating the NFL's code of conduct, but Cardinals fans are hoping Marvin Harrison Jr. lives up to his high expectations as one of the breakout players in fantasy football in 2024 and rises to the top of the 2024 fantasy football WR rankings.
Harrison was the No. 4 pick in the NFL Draft and has already established himself as the top wide receiver in a young offensive line, and quarterback Kyler Murray has proven he can put up big numbers and could move up in our fantasy football QB rankings for 2024. Last year, the model accurately predicted that Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle would not live up to his fantasy football ADP. Waddle's 2023 fantasy football ADP was 34.86 overall, making him the 11th-best receiver overall. He recorded a 1,000-yard season but only had 72 receptions and four touchdowns, finishing 34th among fantasy football wide receivers in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record of providing fantasy football tips, identifying AJ Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and accurately predicting Jonathan Taylor's phenomenal season in 2021. Additionally, they have predicted past fantasy football sleepers such as Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Those who bet on these players have gone on to win league titles.
The model is run by the same people who create the projections for the three major fantasy sites, and it beat out human experts last season when there was a huge difference in rankings. Our 2024 Fantasy Football PPR Rankings and 2024 Fantasy Football Standard Projections are updated multiple times each day, so you'll always have the best fantasy football advice and the latest fantasy football tiers.

2024 Fantasy Football QB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football QB picks for 2024.
1. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles: Hurts has finished as the third-best QB in fantasy the past two seasons, and a big reason for that is his running ability. He had 15 rushing touchdowns last year, most of which came on Philadelphia's nearly unstoppable “tush push” quarterback sneaks. Hurts' rushing dominance, along with the fact that he has the best receiver duo among the top fantasy QBs in AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith, has propelled him to the No. 1 spot in SportsLine's 2024 fantasy football QB rankings.
2. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills: Like Hurts, Allen reached the end zone 15 times as a rusher last season, and he's still considered an elite fantasy QB option, but his passing ability is somewhat limited with the departure of Stefon Diggs, who was targeted at least 154 times in all four seasons with Buffalo.
3. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs: Mahomes and the Chiefs shook off last year's slow start to win another Super Bowl. The Chiefs acquired Hollywood Brown in free agency and added Xavier Worthy in the draft to add some serious speed to their receivers. Mahomes still has 5,000-yard potential, but he's slipped down a bit in fantasy football rankings after finishing as fantasy QB8 last year. To see more top QBs, click here.
2024 Fantasy Football RB Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football running back picks for 2024.
1. Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: McCaffrey averaged 21.2 touches and 126.5 yards per game last season, making him the fantasy RB1. He was second among running backs in carries, fourth in targets and first in red zone touches. The only concern for McCaffrey's coach in 2024 is injuries. He appears to be in the prime of his career.
2. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: The 27-year-old played more than 70% of the snaps in 11 of 14 games for the Giants, ranking second in playing time share. He's in a much better situation in Philadelphia and should get touchdowns from quarterback Jalen Hurts. Barkley's fantasy ceiling has been limited by New York's struggles, so his manager should be able to maximize his potential this season.
3. Breece Hall, New York Jets: Hall ranked sixth among RBs in fantasy points per game last season despite recovering from a serious knee injury. He had 1,585 total yards on 299 touches, averaging 20.2 touches and 102.5 total yards from Week 5 through Week 18. Hall will continue to be a key part of the offense this season and will be even more of a receiving threat out of the backfield with Aaron Rodgers' return. See other top RBs here.
2024 Fantasy Football WR Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three fantasy football WR picks for 2024.
1. CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: The 25-year-old Lamb has steadily improved each season of his pro career, recording 1,749 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns in 2023. Lamb was the WR1 in fantasy points per game and finished the season with 100+ yards receiving in seven of his final 12 games while ranking fourth in the league in target share and fifth in yards per route run.
2. Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins: Hill averaged just under 20 points per game last season, scoring nearly 300 fantasy points, good for second overall at his position. He led the league in yards per route run (3.72) while recording over 1,700 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. Hill is now 30 years old, but shows no signs of slowing down at this point.
3. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown won the triple-win last season, averaging 16.5 fantasy points per game and ranking third among wide receivers. He had 1,371 receiving yards and nine touchdowns with a 30% target share and 34% air yard share. St. Brown signed a major contract extension this offseason, making him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL at the time. See other top WRs here.
2024 Fantasy Football TE Rankings
Here are SportsLine's top three 2024 fantasy football TE picks.
1. Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs: The 34-year-old Kelce has caught 90 or more passes in six straight years entering 2023 and is already making a legitimate case to be considered the best tight end of all time. He signed a two-year contract extension in the offseason and remains the centerpiece of Kansas City's elite offense. Some fantasy managers are downplaying Kelce after he didn't reach 1,000 yards last year, but he's still the top player at his position.
2. Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens: Andrews has only played one full season since his rookie year, but he scored one more touchdown in 10 games last year than he did in 15 games the year before. He was quarterback Lamar Jackson's first choice and averaged 4.5 receptions per game last season. His points per target average is also nearly 3 percent higher than his career average, so his health is the only legitimate concern for owners.
3. Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions: He wowed the fantasy world as a rookie, finishing as TE1 with 86 receptions for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns. LaPorta is averaging 52.3 receiving yards per game, and it's easy to imagine him surpassing those numbers this season. SportsLine's model needs to see more from LaPorta before ranking him above Kelce and Andrews, but LaPorta is already one of the best tight ends in the league. To see more top TEs, click here.
