Reboxed
Circular economy startup Reboxed has announced the launch of ReboxedOS, an out-of-the-box solution for recommerce of consumer electronics.
The company says the platform helps brands launch and grow co-branded resale and initiate trade-in and recycling programs quickly and easily to increase revenue and sustainability.
Founded by friends Phil Chemish and Matt Thorne during the first coronavirus lockdown in 2019, London-based BCorp's Reboxed is on a mission to repurpose 100 million devices.
It initially launched as a tech direct-to-consumer marketplace, but after being approached by retailers, it created a suite of services that aims to “revolutionize the way brands and retailers approach recommerce and turn returns into revenue.”
ReboxedOS is an all-in-one circular services solution that allows businesses to consolidate the setup of resale, trade-in and recycling programs without investing in building their own infrastructure.
Reboxed has previously assisted telecommunications clients such as Three Mobile to launch refurbished technology for customers of its SIM-only brand, SMARTY, and has partnered with Lebara Mobile and Airtime rewards to expand circular economy solutions for their customers.

Brother, a Japanese multinational electrical and electronics manufacturer, selected Kinaxis to increase visibility and collaboration within its global supply chain, improve demand forecasting, and create more accurate, agile scenario planning.
Brother has manufacturing, development and sales bases in over 40 countries around the world, and its global sales exceed 80 billion yen for products and services such as printers, labeling systems, industrial and home sewing machines, garment printers and digital printing equipment.
The company needed a supply chain management solution that could address the broad range of products and industry-specific challenges and provide complete end-to-end visibility.

Brand Alley
BrandAlley, an off-price e-retailer of premium and luxury brands in the UK and France, reports improved business performance by partnering with Scurri to take full control of its delivery offers to customers, from dispatch to customer notification.
Additionally, for the first time, there are improved order tracking capabilities for customers and the ability to create branded shipping notifications during the delivery process, giving customers greater visibility into their orders.
UK-based Brand Alley runs flash sales on designer brands, usually with multiple sales each day for a week. The site stocks women's, men's, and children's clothing, home goods, and beauty products.
With a complex logistics operation based in Kettering, a expanding business and an ever-growing membership list, streamlining the delivery process was a top priority for the company.
The company had been using third-party logistics providers but made the decision in May 2023 to bring operations in-house, using Scurri's Connect delivery management platform to manage the integration of multiple carriers.
