Asia Fruits continues its outlook for this year's Asia Fruit Logistica with the show's Asian exhibitors.
Best Products from Thailand
“Passion for freshness” is the core value of Thai Best Products (TBP), an exporter supplying seasonal fruits and vegetables to various international markets. TBP has three packhouses and serves lines including coconut, longan, mango, and seasonal fruits such as rambutan and mangosteen. In Asia Fruit Logistica, the exporter's flagship product is Coco+ Easy Open Coconut. The GI (Geographical Indication) certified aromatic coconut has a shelf life of 45 days and has already gained traction in Asian markets. TBP wants to expand further afield and is targeting customers in Europe and Asia. It highlights its recent breakthrough in South Korea where it established exports of Nam Dok Mai mangoes using steam heat treatment (VHT).
ULink Agritech
It's been a banner year for ULink Agritech. The Indian exporter shipped the first ocean shipment of pomegranates to the US, became the first Indian company to export Indian-grown Cavendish bananas to the Netherlands, and signed a memorandum of understanding with Middle Eastern retailer Lulu Group for the supply of bananas and guavas. The company hopes that its Kimaye brand and Asia Fruit Logistica, which features a diversified portfolio of fresh and processed products including bananas, pomegranates, guavas, dragon fruit, whole ripe coconuts, baby corn and more, will serve as a platform for further growth.
Magnus Farm Fresh
Magnus Farm Fresh, a grower-exporter, works with around 1,200 smallholder farmers in India to deliver products to customers in over 20 countries. The company's product lines include grapes, pomegranates, bananas, coconuts and mixed vegetables. Asia Fruit Logistica is promoting its banana brand “Laila” and is also looking to develop annual programs and private labels for banana customers across the Middle East. Other key brands include Simba and Fruition grapes, Magnus coconut, and Magnus and Taj pomegranates. To support its expansion plans, Magnus Farm Fresh has significantly increased its human resources, quadrupling its team to 40 people since its inception in 2020, with plans to further increase in the coming years.
S&W
S&W looks forward to this year's Asia Fruit Logistica to continue showcasing its S&W Deluxe Premium pineapple, which has continued to gain popularity across China since it was first introduced in 2022. S&W allows this naturally super sweet pineapple to ripen while still on the tree, allowing the flavor to reach its full potential. The fruit is then harvested from pre-selected fields that comply with Deluxe Premium's quality specifications. Asia Fruit Logistica continues to be a strategic venue for S&W, allowing the company to keep up with trends in the fresh produce industry and meet with existing and future partners. It also provides a platform for S&W to highlight its extensive product lineup, including frozen pineapple and not-from-concentrate (NFC) juice.
Aomori Trading
The “Aomori Apples from Japan” booth at Asia Fruit Logistica will showcase premium apples from Aomori prefecture in Japan. Organised by Aomori Trading, the booth will feature a range of high quality apple varieties available for export. In-season fruits such as melons and peaches will also be on display, and apple juice samples will be available. Having shipped their first Aomori apples to the UK at last year's Asia Fruit Logistica, Aomori Trading hopes to use Asia Fruit Logistica to develop new markets for Aomori apples from Japan.
