LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Some animals at the Louisville Zoo were chilling out Sunday while spreading a message of conservation.
The Zoo is partnering with WaterSteps and Louisville Water Company to celebrate World Water Week.
Visitors were able to observe the animals playing with enrichment items and water balls, and learn about the importance of clean, accessible water around the world.
WaterStep developed the Water Ball to allow third world workers to roll water instead of carrying buckets on their shoulders.
Glacier Run featured interactive activities with seals and sea lions. The zoo's mission is to foster a bond between humans and the planet.

“Clean water is so important to wildlife,” said Kyle Sheppard, Louisville Zoo's public affairs manager. “It's important to us too, and this is a great event to showcase that and for people to learn about Louisville Water and Water Steps.”
Bears and tigers also took part in several enrichment activities on Sunday.
