The Cowboys announced they would release 15 players on Monday, including two of their 2023 draft picks, among the group of players released.
Defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko, a fourth-round pick, and cornerback Eric Scott, a sixth-round pick, were both waived. Fehoko's departure comes with an injured designation, so he will return to injured reserve if his waiver is granted.
Neither Fehoko nor Scott saw playing time with the Cowboys during their rookie seasons.
Linebacker Damien Wilson, a fourth-round draft pick in 2015, left the team but returned last season.
The Cowboys also waived or released wide receiver Deontay Burnett, center Cole Cabral, defensive back Josh DeBerry, linebacker Willie Harvey, tight end Alec Holler, wide receiver Cam Johnson, linebacker Jason Johnson, running back Nathaniel Peete, defensive tackle Albert Huggins, wide receiver Tyrone Johnson, wide receiver David Durden and defensive end Durell Johnson.
