MSC, a global leader in the shipping industry, has exciting news for importers and exporters: the company has announced the reinstatement and improvement of its Liberty service, providing increased capacity to meet the high demand in the trans-Pacific market and competitive transit times to the U.S. East Coast.
As part of the enhancements, MSC will introduce a new direct call to Philadelphia in direct response to current market needs. This expansion of Liberty services will open up new opportunities for importers and exporters across all industries and improve connectivity between these important trade hubs.
The new service will have a sailing time of 40 days from Singapore to Philadelphia. The first voyage will be aboard MSC HOUSTON V (voyage number QO432A) with an estimated arrival date of August 8 in Singapore.
A full Liberty service rotation will include stops in Singapore, Shanghai, Busan, Miami, Savannah, Charleston, Philadelphia and New York, with a return call to Singapore.
The enhancements are expected to strengthen trade relationships and streamline shipping processes for local businesses.
