World of Warcraft has partnered with Twitch to host a streamer cheering event during the release of World of Warcraft: The War Within. Twitch viewers can earn rewards by gifting subscriptions to participating streamers. From August 26th at 3pm PDT to September 26th at 10am PDT, cheer on your favorite eligible streamer and receive a Hunter's Watcher pet to accompany you on your adventures deep into Azeroth.

How to participate Log into your Twitch account (if necessary, first create a Twitch account for free at Twitch.tv). Visit a Twitch channel that is streaming World of Warcraft. Purchase a total of two subscriptions of any tier while the channel is live streaming World of Warcraft to earn rewards.
*Please note that the campaign will begin on August 26, 2024 at 3pm PDT. Subscriptions purchased before said start time will not count towards the campaign. Subscriptions purchased while your channel is not live streaming World of Warcraft and have the category set to “World of Warcraft” will also not count towards the campaign.

A. All Twitch Partners and Affiliates broadcasting World of Warcraft gameplay are eligible.
Q. How do I purchase a subscription on Twitch?

Q. How many subscriptions do I need to purchase to get the World of Warcraft Watcher of the Huntress pet? What tiers are eligible for the promotion?
A. To receive a reward redemption code, a user must purchase two (2) subscriptions of any level. Subscriptions must be purchased during the promotional period. Prime Subs are excluded.
Q. I purchased two subscriptions before the promotion, am I eligible to receive a redemption offer code?
A. No. Redeemable reward codes can only be earned by purchasing two (2) stream subscriptions to any stream streaming World of Warcraft during the promotion period and using the World of Warcraft category.
Q. What can I do if I can't complete a subscription purchase on Twitch?
A. First, make sure you're trying to complete a purchase on one of the channels in the World of Warcraft category. Refreshing the page or trying a different payment method can usually help. If it's a mobile purchase, please wait a moment to refresh. If you need further help, read our general troubleshooting FAQs and common fixes here and contact our Twitch support team.
Q. Can I track how many eligible subscriptions I have made through a campaign?
A. There is no central location to track the progress of the campaign, but users may refer to their Twitch payment history to view recent subscription purchases to eligible channels. This should only be used as a reference for whether a subscription purchase was successful. It does not guarantee that a subscription will qualify for the campaign.
Q. Where can I check if I have received campaign rewards?
A. Once a promotional reward code has been claimed, it will be delivered to the user's Twitch notification inbox, located to the right of the top navigation bar on Twitch. The code will remain there until the user deletes the message.
Q. What if I can't receive my code on Twitch?
A. Promotional reward codes will be delivered up to 24 hours after being earned. The code will remain until the user completes the eligible purchase and deletes the message. If you have waited 24 hours and confirmed that you made a purchase for an eligible streamer who was live, please contact Twitch Support while logged in.
Q. What if I received a reward redemption code on Twitch but am having issues redeeming the item on Battle.net?
A. If you have successfully received your rewards redemption code on Twitch but are having issues redeeming your rewards on battle.net, please contact Blizzard Support here for any questions or assistance with redeeming your rewards redemption code.

Qualifications
To participate, you will need to link your Twitch account by visiting https://account.battle.net/connections. If you change your password or make any other changes to your Twitch or Battle.net account, you will need to relink your account. Once you relink, there will be a 7-day cooldown before you can relink a new Twitch account. Once you claim your reward on Twitch, make sure you are logged into the Battle.net region you want to receive your drop in. Your items will be shipped to the first region you log into. After you claim your reward, it may take up to 24 hours to claim it in-game. For more information, see the FAQ section.
How do I earn Twitch Drops?

Q. How do I link my battle.net and Twitch accounts?
A. Sign in to your Battle.net account at https://account.battle.net/connections, click the Twitch (Connect) link, and follow the instructions to sign in and link your Twitch account to Battle.net.
Q. What devices can I use to earn and receive drops?
A. You can earn and claim Drops using a web browser on PC/Mac, or the Twitch app on Android or iOS. The Twitch app on game consoles, smart TVs, or other TV apps does not support Drops.
Q. Do I have to watch the same channel the whole time to get a drop?
A. You can earn progress towards drops on any eligible channel in the World of Warcraft category on Twitch. For example, you can watch 30 minutes on one channel and then switch to another without losing your progress. You will not earn progress faster by watching multiple channels at once.
Q. Will drop rewards be automatically received in-game?
A. To receive your reward, you will need to claim the drop in the channel you are watching or in the Drops Inventory menu on Twitch.
Q. Do Twitch Drop rewards expire?
A. If your Battle.net account is not linked, any Twitch Drop rewards you earn will expire 7 days after you receive them.
Q. As a streamer, how can I get Twitch Drops for my channel?
A. Simply make sure your Twitch and Battle.net accounts are linked and you've opted in to Drops (see Drops Streamer Home).
