Simpson Manufacturing, an engineering firm and building materials manufacturer, has appointed Udit Mehta as its new chief technology officer (CTO). The company makes structural connectors, anchors and products for new construction and renovations.

Simpson Manufacturing's New CTO
As CTO, Mehta will be primarily responsible for overseeing Simpson Manufacturing's technology infrastructure and customer-facing digital offerings. He will report to President and CEO Mike Olosky.
Prior to joining Simpson, Mehta spent four years at Carrier Global, where he served as Chief Digital Information Officer and General Manager of the Fire and Security division.
During his tenure, he initiated a strategy that led to a digital company revamp and digital product offerings for B2B and B2C customers.
Prior to joining Career Global, Mehta spent nine years at Siemens Power Services where he held various roles of increasing rank, including head of the Digital Business for the Americas.
Mehta holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting and Information Systems from Gujarat University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
