UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health has appointed Christopher Fisher as the new facilities director for Finger Lakes Health.
Fisher joined Finger Lakes Health in 2022 as Maintenance Manager, during which time he successfully managed the operations of a comprehensive maintenance program.
He currently oversees the Maintenance, Construction, Environmental Services and Grounds departments and ensures performance standards are met through preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, planned actions and the application of automated building control systems.
Fisher will also lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of construction/renovation projects to maintain standards of excellence for Finger Lakes Health's facilities as they continue to evolve to better serve the healthcare needs of the community.
Mr. Fisher has over 30 years of experience in facilities maintenance, carpentry, landscaping and leadership positions. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice from Finger Lakes Community College.
Prior to joining Finger Lakes Health, Fisher served as maintenance director for Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons through Sodexo.
