Drones and autonomous equipment will be at this year's Farm Progress Show, but new technology isn't the only highlight of the event. Iowa State University agronomist Kendall Lamke will talk about what to expect at the Iowa State University expo, from farm forests to artificial intelligence. Also speaking at the show is Mary Pat Sass, a popular online farm wife, mother, entrepreneur and cook.
Next, we'll join Professor Deborah Whaley of the University of Iowa to discuss the history of the Divine Nine, a historically African-American fraternity and sorority, and its connection to Vice President Kamala Harris.
guest:
Mary Pat Sass, farmer's wife and owner of Sass Farms Kendall Lamkey, associate dean for facilities and operations and professor of agronomy in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University, and co-chair of the Iowa State Farm Progress Show exhibit Deborah Whaley, professor of English and African American studies at the University of Iowa
