The 2024 NFL preseason has concluded, with just a few days until the start of the regular season. Many of this year's first-round draft picks did not play last week, so this article can also be considered a preseason overview of the 32 first-round draft picks.
We will continue to track their performances and all of their key opponents throughout the regular season.
1st pick: Chicago Bears: QB Caleb Williams
Overall Rookie Rating: 70.3 (Rank: N/A)
Main Opponents: N/A
Preseason Week 3 Snaps: 0
Preseason Week 3 Rating: N/A
Williams, along with the rest of Chicago's starters, sat out the team's final preseason game against Kansas City. He played well in the Bears' first two games, showcasing his trademark mobility, which will surely be an asset going forward. Two of Williams' three big throws this preseason came on bootlegs, and on the third, he tore open the pocket, rolled left and dropped a dime to Rome Odunze. Williams' legs are just as threatening as his arm.
