KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) — Planned Parenthood Federation of Tennessee and North Mississippi has announced it will soon open a new health center in Knoxville.
Planned Parenthood said it will begin seeing patients on Monday, Oct. 14, and will begin accepting appointments starting Sept. 23.
The new wellness centre is on Cherry Street, in the same location as the previous facility which was deliberately set on fire on New Year's Eve 2021.

Months after the fire, investigators determined that Mark Thomas Reno of Jefferson City had set the building on fire.

Abortion services are effectively banned in Tennessee, but Planned Parenthood still offers some other services.
