A previously unseen video from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's lavish Indian wedding shows Akash Ambani playing the role of father, as the eldest Ambani son was filmed comforting his daughter Veda during the baraat (wedding ceremony).

Akash Ambani is the eldest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani. He is married to Shloka Mehta and has two children, Prithvi, 3, and Veda, 1.
When his toddler daughter got fussy during the baraat, as happens with small children, Akash Ambani stepped up to console her.
“Grandma, Grandpa is coming,” the eldest Ambani son can be heard saying as he spotted his crying daughter amid the commotion. Also seen in the video are groom Anant Ambani and Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, who also turned to comfort his granddaughter.

Anant Ambani married his longtime love Radhika Merchant in a star-studded ceremony in Mumbai on July 12. The wedding was the culmination of months of celebrations, including a three-day party in Jamnagar and a luxury Mediterranean cruise. In fact, Veda's first birthday party was also held on a luxury cruise ship that took guests to Italy and France.
Shortly after their star-studded wedding in Mumbai and three subsequent receptions, the newlyweds flew to Jamnagar, where the billionaire Ambani family owns vast estates, before being spotted with their entire family in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta, along with their two children, were also in Paris for the Olympics.
After Paris, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant continued their honeymoon in Central America to Costa Rica and Panama.
