Dr. Andrew Obrich, who specializes in family medicine, is excited to join Essentia Health Mid Dakota Bismarck Gateway Clinic.
“I love the sense of community among the staff here,” Dr. Obrich, a Bismarck native, said of his reasons for joining Essentia, “Plus, being part of a top-tier health system like Essentia gives me access to resources that I wouldn't have access to otherwise.”
Dr. Obrich earned his MD from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He completed his residency in family medicine at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians.
“I was attracted to family medicine because it allows me to be involved in all aspects of a patient's medical needs rather than focusing on one area of their care,” Dr. Obrich said. “I also use my counseling experience to help patients on a daily basis.”
