Vidyarthi Bhavan shared the video with the caption, “We were delighted to have legendary badminton star @padukoneprakash visit our restaurant last night!”
A popular restaurant in Bengaluru's Gandhinagar area, known for its venne dosas and vadas, Vidyarthi Bhavan is always packed, even on weekdays, with people waiting in long queues to get their hands on the legendary dishes.
In the video, the Padukones, parents of Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, can be seen enjoying dosas, reviewing the restaurant and posing for photos.
Prakash Padukone was photographed with a waiter balancing a plate and a tray of dosas on one arm, a signature image at Vidyarthi Bhavan, which industrialist Anand Mahindra once called “Olympic Games”.

The video was posted Thursday morning and has since garnered more than 42,000 views and numerous comments.
Since the video went viral on X, users have started sharing mixed reviews of the popular eatery, with some praising the food's taste, while others say it's not as good as it used to be.
Reacting to the video, X user Ashwin Siddaramaiah commented, “Just some honest feedback. I've been craving dosa for the last 2 years and visited specifically for it (last visit was after lockdown). Dosa is not the same anymore. Are they using any new ingredients?”
A second user, SriRam@6269, commented: “Stacking dosas like this is unhealthy as the bottom of every plate rests on top of the dosa.”
Another user, Dwaraki Rao, commented, “If you meet @arunadiga and @padukoneprakash you will become legends.”
