His impressive collection is filled with luxury cars that come with hefty price tags.
The King is the second longest serving monarch after the late Queen Elizabeth II. Born on 15 July 1946, he was second in line to the throne. A graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he became King of Brunei in 1967.
The wealthy monarch's car collection is packed with more than 7,000 vehicles, estimated to be worth $5 billion.

He holds the official Guinness World Record for Rolls-Royce cars in particular, with 500 of his entire collection being luxury vehicles. Some sources say the collection now stands at 600. In the 1990s, the family is believed to have purchased almost half of all luxury cars sold.
According to GQ, one of the cars is a custom-made Rolls-Royce with a retractable roof, an umbrella on top, and plenty of gold covering the exterior.
Other luxury car brands in the Sultan's collection include Porsche, Lamborghini, Maybach, Jaguar, BMW, Ferrari, McLaren, Jaguar and Bentley.
According to the Times of India, his total net worth is $30 billion, most of which comes from oil reserves and natural gas.

The King's car collection is not the only testament to his wealth, and it is not just his car collection that has made him a record holder.
According to the Guinness World Records, the Sultan's residence, Istana Nurul Iman, holds the record as the largest residential palace in the world.
The palace spans more than 2 million square feet and is covered in 22-karat gold. It features five swimming pools, more than 1,700 bedrooms and 257 bathrooms.
This enormous palace also features a hall that can accommodate 5,000 guests, air-conditioned stables for 200 polo horses, a mosque, and of course a garage for 110 cars.

The palace was completed in 1984 and was constructed by Ayala Construction, with interior design by Quang Chu, according to the Guinness World Records. The total cost of building the palace was approximately $1.4 billion.

According to insiders, the billionaire also owns his own zoo, which is home to 30 Bengal tigers as well as a variety of birds, including flamingos and parrots.
The Sultan has a wide choice of vehicles on the road and is also the owner of a Boeing 747.
