Camera systems specialist Arri has renewed its Gold sponsorship of SVG Europe.
With a portfolio that includes digital cameras, lenses, camera accessories, archiving technology, lampheads and lighting accessories, as well as Arri Rental, which provides services and equipment to professional production companies around the world, the company employs around 1,600 staff worldwide.
Arri Rental recently expanded its service offerings in Vienna, Austria, opening a new facility providing lighting, grip equipment and logistics for productions of all types and scales.
The Vienna facility covers 750 square metres of floor space and is able to supply cutting-edge lighting and grip equipment, including the latest Arri fixtures such as SkyPanel X and Orbiter, as well as exclusive products such as modular BrikLok LED lights, the all-terrain Hexatron crane vehicle and the compact Hover Dolly with versatile Delta Tracks.
In terms of technological innovation, in 2024 Arri introduced the single-axis Hi-5 SX hand unit, the Alexa 35 Live – multi-cam system for live production, and the Orbiter Beam optics for long-distance projection applications.
