Tom Brady is the best quarterback in Tampa Bay Buccaneers history. There's not much debate about that.
In just three years, Brady has established himself as the greatest player to ever put on a Buccaneers uniform, setting franchise records along the way, and while that may, of course, say a lot about the quarterbacks who came before him (or, in some cases, the decision-makers who coached those quarterbacks), Brady is still the GOAT in that conversation.
Brady was lucky enough to be drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and has since won six Super Bowls and earned numerous accolades and accomplishments, making him the GOAT when it comes to the New England Patriots. But is he the greatest player of all time in every conversation?

To find the answer (although the debate will never completely die down), ESPN conducted a popular anonymous poll that came up with a definitive conclusion: Brady is indeed the GOAT. But there are also some “yes, but” questions in this conversation.
“No disrespect to Tom, but I'd pick Pat,” one NFC South player said in an ESPN poll. “Pat can do everything Tom can do, and he's more mobile.”
That's a bit of a bold statement – divisional jealousies aside, some teams have taken a more results-driven approach – it is a results-driven league, after all.
“Mahomes is close, but he's not there yet,” another NFC South player told ESPN. “Don't underestimate Tom Brady. He's got seven championship rings.”
While many agree that Mahomes is dethroning the current GOAT, it's Brady he's trying to unseat, which will be a tall order. Of the votes tallied, Brady received 85 votes to Mahomes' seven.
ESPN reports that several other players also received votes, as anonymous voting does little to prevent biased opinions from surfacing.
