The enhanced Axis Experience Center will enhance security for federal agencies and other commercial and industrial organizations.
CHELMSFORD, Mass. – Axis Communications recently celebrated the grand opening of the Axis Experience Center (AEC) in Arlington, Virginia.
The expanded AEC, which opened in 2018, “serves growing market demand in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, serving a variety of industries, including government and law enforcement, critical infrastructure, urban surveillance, transportation, education, retail and healthcare,” according to a company announcement.
According to the announcement, the newly upgraded Axis Experience Centre “will now be even more accessible for stakeholders in these regions to meet with local Axis experts, engage with engineering, sales and marketing staff, and gain exposure to the latest intelligent surveillance technology.”
Located on the 12th and 14th floors of Potomac Tower, the property “also offers stunning panoramic views of the Potomac River and Washington, D.C.'s monuments from the building's terrace.”
“Axis is excited to re-establish our presence in Washington, DC, bringing expanded cutting-edge security solutions and enhanced support to the heart of the nation's capital,” Paul Winsker, director of Axis Communications' Mid-Atlantic operations, said in the company's announcement.

The 13,500-square-foot AEC includes a variety of new features and distinctive design elements, including:
There are two state-of-the-art Security Operations Centers; A dedicated Federal Demo Space to demonstrate various products and solutions that comply with complex Federal regulations and requirements, such as NDAA and TAA compliance; Multiple types of analytical scenarios are set up around the space to demonstrate actions such as voice messages and siren/strobe profiles, creating an interactive space where customers can see the cameras in action; Several specialized products such as thermal and radar are on display that work together throughout the space; Four meeting rooms that Axis partners and customers can book to hold meetings, trainings and conferences, as well as a training and certification room, and two designated community areas that Axis partners and customers can use during downtime.
