The chargé d'affaires emphasized that during the all-out war, Poland provided Ukraine with spare parts and MiG-29 aircraft. He added that Poland is currently preparing “various support measures for Ukraine.” He acknowledged that our country still has about 10 to 15 MIG-29 fighter jets.

“Our country is currently undergoing a major reform of its air force,” Pyotr Łukasiewicz emphasized. – We purchase new products from our partners: F-16 and F-35 aircraft. However, he added that since this process is still ongoing, we cannot afford to lose even these 10 MiG-29s because we will feel defenseless.
The diplomat appealed to Poland's allies to “help fill the gap created by the MiG relocation.”
