At least one person has died after a train derailed in Norway. This is due to debris sliding down the mountain trail. There was also information about injured people – there could have been up to 90 people on board – a rescue operation was organized and a crisis management team was set up.
The disaster occurred in northern Norway on Thursday afternoon. The airline announced that 90 tickets had been sold for this route, but the exact number of passengers could not yet be revealed. Meanwhile, foreign media reported that about 70 people were on board the machine.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Center of Northern Norway (JRCC NN) said it was working at the scene of the train derailment, where between 50 and 70 people were on board. A message on social media said, “The extent of the damage is unknown at this time.”

A police representative told broadcaster TV2 that officers probably succeeded in removing everyone from the train, but said they did not have an exact list of passengers. “There are probably five or six people injured, but none of them are life-threatening,” Bent Ale Eilertsen said.
