Representative Michal O. referring to the issue of bail and release from custody reported that “the transfer has already been recorded”. He added that “according to the procedure, the prosecutor's office should immediately send an order for release from custody after accepting this guarantee.” The National Prosecutor's Office has been conducting a criminal case since February in connection with the withdrawal of money from the Justice Fund. One of the main topics is the donation to the Profeto Fund, which was founded by his father O.
At the end of March, Father Michal O. – the president of the Profeto Fund, who received several tens of millions of zlotys from the Justice Fund, was arrested by ABV officers. In addition, they also arrested two employees of the Ministry of Justice. The court decided to arrest them. At the end of August, the Warsaw district court extended their detention for another three months. Their representatives have appealed against this decision.

Court decision
The Court of Appeal in Warsaw reviewed them on Thursday. After leaving the courtroom, the priest's lawyer, Krzysztof Wasowski, told reporters that the court decided to release the detainees on parole if the three of them paid PLN 350,000 each. He explained that the priest and the officials will be released immediately after paying the bail. The court gave them until November 15.
On Friday, one of the representatives of Father O. said that the transfer was for the bail of father O. “already recorded”. When they asked if O. he knows that he will be released from prison, he said that “he knows that the bail has been paid, he knows that we will accept it in a moment”. – According to the procedure, after accepting this guarantee, the prosecutor's office should issue a release order immediately – he added.
Conditions of release of father O. and two secretaries
On Thursday, Krzysztof Wasowski said that “the court informed us that the change in the preventive measure will also involve the banning of the three of them from leaving the country and the confiscation of their passports, and that they will also have to report to the police twice a week and contact between yourself and witnesses is prohibited.

“The deposit will be paid by the priests of the Sacred Heart”
“Father Michal's bail is paid by his colleagues, the Fathers of the Sacred Heart,” Wasowski said on Friday. He also thanked “many people for their generous declarations of deposit payments”.
“Mateusz Morawiecki announces his support for the priest's bail,” announced Piotr Müller, the European Parliament and former PiS spokesman, on Thursday evening on the X website. “Solidarity with the people who have been under pressure in recent months,” we read in this letter.
On Thursday evening, Daniel Obaitek, the former President of the Republic of Orlen and currently a member of the PiS parliament, announced on social networks that he wants to run for O. Tomas Sakiewicz, editor-in-chief of the right-wing Telewizja Republika, to pay bail. Michal Rachon, the current director of programs of this network and during the PiS government, one of the main faces of the politicized government television, will pay bail for the two mentioned officials.
Accusations against priest Michal O.
The National Prosecutor's Office has started the case of withdrawing money from the Fund of Justice since February of this year.
One of the main topics is the grant to the Church of the Prophet, for about PLN 100 million, the construction of a support center for victims of crime in Warsaw's Wilanów, which the foundation named Archipelago. According to the investigators, the officials of the Ministry of Justice, in consultation with father Michal O, the head of the company “Profeto”, ensured that the foundation won the competition, although it did not meet the formal and material conditions.
Przemysław Novak, the spokesman of the National Prosecutor's Office, reported that on October 22, the National Prosecutor's Office changed the charges against the cleric and two officials.
The spokesperson said that the indictment is in the same direction as in the case of the suspect Marcin Romanovsky, the former deputy minister of justice who controlled the Justice Fund, from abuse of trust (Article 296 of the Criminal Code) to the embezzlement of property entrusted to a trust (Article 284, Article 2 of the Criminal Code).
