A new method of attacking Russian drones was explained on Ukrainian television by Mykhailo Shamanov, a spokesperson for the Kyiv Military Administration.
– Most attacks are carried out by Shahed drones. Attacks occur in waves, mostly at night. Shahid enters from a low height. They circle around and attract attention, said a military officer quoted by Ukrinforum.
The Russians developed new tactics. The drone spins around and around.
They may seem pointless at first glance, but in his opinion, their main purpose is to confuse the Ukrainian military. – forcing them to move and creating a “corridor” for subsequent waves – Zamanou explained.

As he stressed, almost all Shahed attacks are repelled by air defense systems, so “fortunately we don't know for sure what their objectives are.”
– However, analysis of reports on Russian propaganda channels shows that they are planning to attack infrastructure facilities, logistics centers, critical infrastructure facilities and thermal power plants before winter. He added that they had been trying for many seasons to deny the Ukrainians electricity, heat, gas and water, but fortunately they had not succeeded thanks to the work of the Air Defense Force.
