Three men were killed when two light aircraft collided mid-air in a wooded area near Sydney. Witnesses tried to help the victim, but it was too late. The cause of the disaster is unknown.
The accident occurred on Saturday morning in a forested area southwest of Sydney, Australia. A Cessna 182 plane carrying two people collided with an ultralight plane carrying one person. Unfortunately, all participants in this accident died.

NSW Police Acting Chief Inspector Timothy Cullman said two planes fell to the ground and one immediately caught fire.
Ten ambulances and a rescue helicopter were called to the scene. Access to the crash site was difficult due to dense forest. Some police officers, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene on foot.

Witnesses saw “debris falling from the sky” and tried to help the crew, but “little could be done.” The wreckage was located about 1 km away.
The cause of the accident will be investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
“In the coming days, investigators will map the area, examine the wreckage of both aircraft and recover relevant items for further examination at the ATSB Technical Facility in Canberra,” the officer said. added.
