Volodymyr Zelensky made his first official visit to Iceland. The President of Ukraine will participate in the 4th Ukraine-Nordic Summit. He said the main topics on the agenda include a “victory plan” for Ukraine. The highest representatives of the Nordic countries will support Kiev.
Ukraine's president visited Iceland for the first time, the Ukraineska Pravda portal reported. He announced his official visit via social media. The purpose of President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit is to participate in the 4th Ukraine-Nordic Summit.

“I will hold bilateral talks with participants from Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. I will also meet with the president and representatives of the parliament of Iceland, and I will also participate in a meeting of the Nordic Council,” Zelenskiy said. He listed his plans.

The head of state said that the talks at the summit will focus on Ukraine's “victory plan” and possibilities to support it. According to the president, the talks could yield important results in the areas of financing Ukraine's arms production, maritime security, increased defense assistance, military training and winter assistance to Ukraine.
“The Nordic countries are our fundamental and decisive allies,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized.

Ukrainian media reported that about 90 people will attend the summit, including the prime minister, foreign minister, members of parliament and invited experts.
Zelenskiy last met with representatives of the Nordic countries in May at a summit in Stockholm.
