October is traditionally Polish American Heritage Month. On this occasion, Kamala Harris sent a letter to the Polish community in which she mentioned the upcoming US presidential election.
“At this critical moment, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance will stand with Putin and force Ukraine to relinquish large swaths of its sovereign territory. will defend and counter the aggressor,” the Democratic Party said in a letter published by the PAP.
He also pledged to work to ensure that Ukraine wins the war “for its own freedom and for the freedom of the free world.”

Harris also thanked the Polish community, highlighting its strong commitment to “labor, patriotism, and a commitment to democratic values and justice.” She emphasized that Polish immigrants have always been warmly welcomed in the United States and that the United States has gained a lot thanks to their presence and social activities, which influenced the development of the country as a whole.
“On behalf of the American people, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Polish community for its continued contribution to the development of our country,” she wrote.
