Testing conducted by the state Department of Health Inspection revealed the migration of primary aromatic amines into food from cookware intended for food contact.
Primary aromatic amines belong to a group of chemicals that are considered carcinogenic or potentially carcinogenic. Therefore, they should not be included in food as they may pose a threat to human health. GIS emphasized that “the products indicated in the message should not be used for contact with food.”

This warning specifically pertains to Q-touch kitchen spoons with product code 30278 and barcode 3141333302786. The product shown in the message is imported from China and imported by Q-TOUCH POLSKA Sp. . z o., ul. Polna 5, 05-552 Volka Kosowska.
According to GIS information, the product's distributor in Poland has withdrawn the product from the market and promised to notify recipients.
“The National Health Inspection Authority is working with distributors to monitor the recall process for problematic products,” it added.
