In front of the entrance to the Valencia regional government headquarters were muddy shoes, clothes and a red T-shirt with the words “Only people save people” written on it. While Mazon heads the opposition People's Party (PP), Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, who leads the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), was also criticized. One of the banners carried by demonstrators read: “Sanchez and Mason are murderers.”
