The announced meeting between current US President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump took place in the Oval Office of the White House. It was previously noted that the conversation included, among other things: Smooth power transmission.
Joe Biden has told Donald Trump that he wants a “smooth transition of power” in January, adding that he will “ensure” that his predecessor and successor have the right conditions to return to the White House.
“Now, the president-elect, former President Donald,” Biden began as President Trump sat next to him in the Oval Office. He offered his congratulations, and the two leaders shook hands.
In response, President Trump said, “Politics, like life, is difficult, but I feel good today.''
