American police can solve any problem. A 10-year-old boy who was struggling with his homework noticed this. The boy made an emergency call asking for help solving a math problem. Sheriff's deputies rushed to the rescue.
The Shawano County, Wisconsin, Sheriff's Office said they received a call from a student asking for help. The boy added that he had called the police with the problematic homework. As he says, his family “wasn't very good at math.”
The dispatcher told the child not to call because he had a learning disability, but since he had time, he offered to help. However, I also lost to complex fractions.

It was a quiet night, so she sent Deputy Sheriff Mason. Mason happened to be in the area where the struggling math student lived.
“Personally, I'm not very good at math,” the sheriff's deputy wrote in his report, but he still managed to solve math problems involving decimal numbers.

After reviewing the consequences of his actions, the 10-year-old boy was instructed to only use the emergency number in the event of a life-threatening situation.
“It was a great teaching moment for everyone,” the sheriff's office wrote on social media.
