Defense attorney Jacek Sutryk filed two complaints against the action of the prosecutor's office in connection with the arrest of the mayor of Wroclaw and the implementation of preventive measures against him. On November 15, the mayor of Wrocław was indicted on four charges related to the Collegium Humanum scandal.
The president of Wroclaw, Jacek Sutryk, was arrested on the morning of November 14 by the CBA. After a few hours of questioning, the next day he was accused of having cheated the former rector of the Humanum College, Pavel Si, to obtain a diploma from this university, also using an illegal document, and thus extorting PLN 230,000. to be .
– Regarding the work of Mr. Jacek Sutryk, the president of Wroclaw, two complaints were sent to the Katowice district court through the prosecutor's office, of course. These complaints concern the arrest and the decision to implement preventive measures, said Sutryk's defense attorney, prof. Dr. Lukasz Blaszczak.

Arrests in connection with Humanum College scandal
The complaints were filed last week. According to the lawyer, Jacek Sutryk could be summoned to court instead of being arrested. The defense does not agree with preventive measures – Sutryk was given a bail of PLN 200,000, police supervision and a ban on contact with the mentioned persons.
The Collegium Humanum case concerns violations at this private university. So far, the CBA has arrested about 30 people, including the former rector of the Humanum College Pavel S. and the former member of parliament Ryzard S.
A total of 150 charges were announced against the detainees (most of them against Pavel S.). Humanum College is currently called University of Business and Applied Sciences. The private university was established in 2018 in Warsaw. It offered much faster and cheaper courses to earn an MBA than its competitors. Such diplomas allow, among other things: to apply for the positions of supervisory boards of state treasury companies.
