Germany is drawing up a list of bunkers that can provide shelter to its citizens in the event of a threat. The Interior Ministry announced that the measures were taken in response to rising tensions with Russia. All places that can be used as shelters are entered into an electronic list, thanks to which the application shows a particular person the nearby bunkers.
The Federal Agency for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief (BBK) is currently working on a new war plan. A spokesperson for the agency said the aim was to systematically register public buildings and private properties that could serve as underground bunkers.

The agency also wants to make “recommendations for temporary improvements to the structure of the room.” Special application development is also underway.
