Changes in the government of Serbia
According to the decision of Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević on Tuesday, the position of the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure will be temporarily filled by the current head of the Ministry of Public Investment, Darko Glišić.
Economy Minister Adriana Mesarovic, in turn, will take over the position of Tomislav Momirovic, whose resignation from the position of Minister of Trade was accepted in the Serbian parliament on Monday.
The Novi Sad railway station was officially opened in July 2024, after a three-year reconstruction during which – in the previous government – Momirović was the Minister of Construction. The Chinese consortium CRIC&CCCC was responsible for the repairs. The prosecutor's office is investigating the reasons for the collapse of a part of the roof.
