The General Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) announced in a statement that a batch of Whey brand protein supplement was withdrawn from the market due to the “possible presence of metal elements”.
“The sanitary inspector was notified by the early warning system for food and unsafe food about the recall of a batch of protein supplement from the market in Poland due to contamination of the product with metal fragments,” the report said.

A batch of GIS air conditioner was taken from the market
As shown by the sanitary inspection, the distributor – Decathlon withdrew the specified batch of products.
“Please do not consume the product from this production batch and go to the Decathlon store of your choice to exchange the product or get a refund. The remaining batches of this product, as well as other Decathlon protein powders, are safe,” the distributor informed customers.
“The state sanitary control authorities monitor the activity of the entrepreneur,” informs GIS.
