An Indian airliner made an emergency landing in Moscow after one passenger became unwell. The man was not saved. The deceased was a U.S. citizen.
This incident is described by the Russian channel Mash. The Air India plane was flying from New York to Delhi.
During the flight, one of the passengers, an approximately 60-year-old man with dual Indian and American citizenship, reportedly felt unwell. “He suddenly became unwell during the flight,” the Russian editorial board said.

According to reports, stewards were expected to perform resuscitation efforts for several hours. It was then decided to make an emergency landing at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. On the ground, doctors pronounced the man dead.

Mash suggests that the cause of the passenger's death may have been a heart attack, but a version regarding poisoning is also being investigated. The exact circumstances of death will be determined through “further investigation.”
