Italian police have detained 25 people on suspicion of collaborating with the country's most powerful criminal organization, the 'Ndrangheta.
Brescia's chief public prosecutor, Francesco Prete, told a news conference that the suspects had “exploited the organization's criminal reputation” by adapting it to northern Italy.
