50-year-old Polish truck driver dies in fire (explanatory photo)
A 50-year-old Polish man has died after his truck burst into flames in Italy. Flames engulfed the driver's cabin, where our compatriots were. The services that arrived on the scene could no longer save him. It is not yet known how the fire started. Italian police have launched an investigation into the accident.
In Italy, a 50-year-old Polish national died in South Tyrol. Italian media reported that the tragedy occurred on the A22 road.
Firefighters received a report of a vehicle fire Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. The fire was reported by a passing motorist who became concerned after seeing heavy smoke.

When crews arrived at the scene, they found the truck on fire. When they arrived, the truck's cabin was already on fire. Firefighting efforts were further complicated by the possibility that the fire could spread to nearby vehicles.
A Polish man was killed in Italy. The truck driver was unable to escape from the burning vehicle.
Unfortunately, during the firefighter operation it was discovered that the driver was a 50-year-old Polish national. Despite intensive efforts by the service, it was too late to help the driver. Rescuers arrived and confirmed the 50-year-old man dead.
It is still not known why the Poles were unable to escape from the burning truck. The exact circumstances of the accident are being investigated and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
